- Is there any hazing? There is absolutely NO hazing in our organization. We have strict policies against it. We want to make MIT (member in training) season as enjoyable as possible. - do I have to be a music major to join? no, you do not have to be a music major to be in SAI. We have members in many different majors. - Is MIT season time consuming? MIT season is a considerable time commitment. But since SAI insists on high academic standards, we try our best to not let the organization get in the way of your academic commitments. School is the #1 priority. - I'm already in a greek organization, can i still join SAI? yes, you can still join SAI if your a part of another greek organization with the exception of other greek MUSIC organizations such as Mu Phi Epsilon. Member of SAI may, however, join Kappa Kappa Psi, Tau Beta Sigma, Pi Kappa Lambda and any music honor society.
